Life is linked to the environment; in fact, living presupposes good interactions with it. The environment needs to be permanently activated and the reason for its care is because it provides essential elements for life: oxygen, water, food, among others, which in sum would be reciprocal welfare. The main objective of the study is to analyze the environmental awareness of university students, from a social perspective within the framework of the ethics of good living. The research was of mixed approach, sequential explanatory design and the techniques used were observation and survey. The results were that there is a clear environmental awareness in most of the students, all of which is related to the ethics of good living, which is understood by the participants as a way of living well, in harmony with nature and not putting at risk the existence of the next generations, which implies respecting the planet.

Keywords : Environmental awareness; Environmental ethics; Environmental management.
