Abstract

The purpose of this article is to establish the relationship between endogenous - exogenous factors and the academic performance of the students of the Nursing Career of the National Amazonian University of Madre de Dios in Peru. Methodology, the study was developed under a non-expecorimental design, the sample population consisted of 160 students of the Professional Nursing Career of the UNAMAD. Results, the endogenous-exogenous factors analyzed have a statistical relationship with the academic performance of university students. It is concluded that endogenous-exogenous factors determine academic performance, so it is necessary to carry out preventive actions by intervening in the variables of modifiable characteristics through educational training, elements such as the norms of university educational training, as well as the elements of attitude and everything related to pedagogy.
