Resumen

CUEVA, Francis Esmeralda Ibarguen et al. Remote teaching and digital skills in regular basic education students, Lima-Peru. Horizontes Rev. Inv. Cs. Edu. [online]. 2022, vol.6, n.26, pp.1906-1917.  Epub 23-Nov-2022. ISSN 2616-7964.  https://doi.org/10.33996/revistahorizontes.v6i26.460.

Given the urgent need to transform the predominant model of education today by a digitalized and remote model, in order to meet the demands of today's society, a study was conducted to establish the relationship between remote teaching and digital skills in students of a public educational institution. The study was descriptive, correlational, with quantitative approach, with a population of 60 regular basic education students. The method was hypothetical-deductive, the instruments were validated by Cronbach's Alpha coefficient (in remote teaching 0.918 and in digital competencies 0.917). The descriptive results for remote teaching reveal a deficient level of 58.3%, the same level in its three dimensions. A similar result was found in digital competencies, 67.1 % deficient, the same level in its dimensions. This leads to the conclusion that the variables studied have a positive, high and moderate correlation.
