Abstract
OCHAVANO, Doylith Ipushima; PENA, Hugo Sánchez and TRUJILLO, Beymar Pedro Solís. Development of mathematical skills in times of virtuality. Horizontes Rev. Inv. Cs. Edu. [online]. 2022, vol.6, n.26, pp.1877-1890. Epub Nov 23, 2022. ISSN 2616-7964. https://doi.org/10.33996/revistahorizontes.v6i26.458.
The use of technology has ceased to be exclusive for certain activities, becoming a fundamental tool for the development of competencies in different areas of education. The objective was to identify the different strategies used for the development of mathematical competencies through the use of virtual environments. The methodology used is documentary analysis, based on a systematic review of 56 scientific papers indexed in reliable databases. The results show that the appropriate use of technology allows students to develop their mathematical competencies, achieve autonomy in their learning and build their knowledge through the interaction between their peers and the teacher. It is concluded that, for the development of mathematical competences in virtual times, the teacher must have developed his digital competences and apply various technological tools in the teaching-learning process.
