Abstract

QUISPE GRANDEZ, Gabriela del Pilar  and  VISLAO CORREA, Ronald Gerardo. Digital Literacy: essential knowledge for teaching during the pandemic. Horizontes Rev. Inv. Cs. Edu. [online]. 2022, vol.6, n.25, pp.1606-1614.  Epub Sep 27, 2022. ISSN 2616-7964.  https://doi.org/10.33996/revistahorizontes.v6i25.439.

The term digital literacy has gained importance in recent years, due to the pandemic caused by covid-19. It is considered as the educational process focused on the acquisition of knowledge and/or learning of technological tools. In this sense, the present research aims to analyze this phenomenon in teachers, from the description and analysis of its scope and limitations. For this purpose, a methodology based on a systematic review accompanied by the PRISMA model was used, employing 20 research studies obtained from various databases such as: ERIC, Scielo, Scopus, Web of Science and search engines such as Google scholar. Finally, it was concluded that digital literacy influences the formative process of educators, since it generates capacities for the use of ICT; however, it is necessary to understand the multiple vicissitudes that arise in the path of technological training.

Keywords : Digital literacy; Computer application; Computer-assisted instruction; Computer literacy education; digital competence.
