The context originated by the pandemic and the COVID-19 confinement has implied the transformation of work spaces, since many professionals had to work from home, thus, the teaching work faced a series of challenges such as work procrastination. Therefore, the objective of the research is to determine procrastination in teachers and its impact on teaching performance. Hence, the methodology used is based on a systematic review supported by the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA), because of its application, 6 documents were obtained from databases such as Scielo, Dialnet, Scopus, Redib, Redalyc, ScienceDirect and Web of Science.
