MESCUA, César; RODRIGUEZ, Maribel  and  VELASQUEZ, Carlos Jaimes. Citizen education for the care of the environment in metropolitan Lima: Generalised linear model. Horizontes Rev. Inv. Cs. Edu. [online]. 2022, vol.6, n.25, pp.1574-1586.  Epub Sep 27, 2022. ISSN 2616-7964.  https://doi.org/10.33996/revistahorizontes.v6i25.436.

Many ecosystems are in the process of extinction and others are in latent danger. The only one who can stop a catastrophic end is man with the exercise of responsible citizenship. The objective of the research was to explain a generalized linear model to determine the factors of citizen education for the care of the environment. The level of the research was explanatory, cross-sectional, with a sample of 800 citizens to whom two questionnaires of 15 questions were applied for each study variable. For data analysis, the technique of generalized linear models and ANOVA was applied. As a result, it was identified that the factors of citizen education that determine environmental care are: Place of origin, care of parks and gardens, communal collaboration and citizen alertness to defend the environment. It is concluded that citizen education for environmental care in Metropolitan Lima is focused on Lima.
