Abstract

PALACIOS ZENTENO, Alejandro Víctor. Teacher coaching and soft skills in the learning of high school students, Lima, Peru. Horizontes Rev. Inv. Cs. Edu. [online]. 2022, vol.6, n.25, pp.1543-1555.  Epub Sep 14, 2022. ISSN 2616-7964.  https://doi.org/10.33996/revistahorizontes.v6i25.433.

The accelerated changes in society demand an integral formation on the part of the student, which must be composed of values, competencies, knowledge and soft skills. In view of this reality, the present research was elaborated with the objective of estimating the influence of teacher coaching and soft skills in the learning of high school students. For this purpose, the study was based on a quantitative research approach, basic type, non-experimental causal correlational design and hypothetical deductive method, in a sample of 234 students. Likewise, a questionnaire validated by expert judgment was applied as an instrument; and its reliability was determined by calculating Cronbach's alpha. Finally, the results determined that there is an influence between teacher coaching and soft skills in the learning of high school students, as well as in their conceptual learning, procedural learning, and attitudinal learning dimensions.
