Abstract

DE LA CRUZ RIOJA, Ricardo; HUAPAYA-CAPCHA, Yoselin Andrea  and  SHIGUAY GUIZADO, Giomar Arturo. Curriculum: the missing link between university and society. Horizontes Rev. Inv. Cs. Edu. [online]. 2022, vol.6, n.25, pp.1498-1513.  Epub Sep 16, 2022. ISSN 2616-7964.  https://doi.org/10.33996/revistahorizontes.v6i25.430.

The purpose of the study is to identify integrating elements from the characteristics, cause and consequences of curriculum development, an essential articulating element between university, man and society; understanding this as a dynamic, flexible, integral and perfectible process. As a method of study, a bibliographic review of scientific articles of impact was carried out; using search strategies such as: key words, theme, author and bibliographic references of the articles. The results show the need to identify integrating elements, which constitutes a gap, allowing the elaboration of more dynamic and pertinent curricula. It is concluded that the elaboration of curricula is a current dual problem; therefore, it is necessary to develop methodologies based on integrating elements that respond to social demands through the graduate profile and its construction from the curriculum.

Keywords : Study plan; Curriculum; Graduate profile; Curricular grid; Bibliographic review.
