Abstract

SANCHEZ NORONO, Irene V.  and  PRIETO G., Juan Luis. Design of a teaching activity for future mathematics teachers on Euclidean constructions with GeoGebra. Horizontes Rev. Inv. Cs. Edu. [online]. 2022, vol.6, n.24, pp.933-946.  Epub June 30, 2022. ISSN 2616-7964.  https://doi.org/10.33996/revistahorizontes.v6i24.387.

This manuscript describes the design elements of a training activity on Euclidean constructions with GeoGebra. The training activity is based on the idea of learning proposed by the Objectivation Theory, a cultural-historical theory of the teaching-learning of mathematics, which is complemented by the concept of Leontiev's Activity. By concatenating these ideas, the elements that structure the training activity emerge. The elements of the activity are aimed at mobilizing certain geometric knowledge, in attention to the resolution of Euclidean construction tasks with GeoGebra. The design of the training activity represents a first step to understand the role played by digital artifacts, such as GeoGebra, in geometric learning.
