The collegial work allows sharing ideas, experiences, knowledge and strategies to contextualize the planning of learning in a non face-to-face modality. The teaching challenge was to create a virtual work environment. The study was conducted in an educational institution in Lima, Peru, with the objective of learning the importance of collegial work to contextualize learning planning through the Edmodo platform. The interpretative paradigm methodology, qualitative approach and hermeneutic phenomenological design were used; the experiences of five teachers were collected using the conversational interview. The interpretation of the results showed that the collegial work meetings are necessary to contextualize the planning of learning in the non face-to-face modality; in addition, the participants recognized that the platform allowed them to achieve their objectives. In conclusion, collegial work is part of the teaching work, and contextualized planning is the most important product to achieve learning.
