Abstract

BERROCAL, Olga Tatiana Roncal. The Culture of Self-Evaluation and the Educational Service in the Educational Institutions of the Callao Region. Horizontes Rev. Inv. Cs. Edu. [online]. 2022, vol.6, n.23, pp.616-625.  Epub June 02, 2022. ISSN 2616-7964.  https://doi.org/10.33996/revistahorizontes.v6i23.362.

The culture of self-evaluation as a way of knowing and doing of any educational institution can solve the various problems it faces, because knowing its needs and particular situations, it will be part of the internal mechanisms it has in favor of the fulfillment of its mission. These capacities, values, contents and methods that it uses or can use as part of the culture of self-evaluation are related to the educational service it provides. Therefore, the general objective of this study is to establish the relationship between the culture of self-evaluation and the educational service in the educational institutions of the National Police of Peru that operate in the Callao Region. The results indicate that there is a positive correlation between the self-evaluation culture variable and the educational service. It is concluded that educational management policies should consider the culture of self-evaluation in educational institutions in order to achieve an educational service that responds to its institutional mission.
