LLANTO, Julio Quesada  and  HONORES, Jorge Luis Canta. Motivation in the context of GTD strategies for learning by competencies. Horizontes Rev. Inv. Cs. Edu. [online]. 2022, vol.6, n.22, pp.332-346.  Epub Mar 28, 2022. ISSN 2616-7964.  https://doi.org/10.33996/revistahorizontes.v6i22.340.

Motivation is the decision people make to achieve or avoid experiences or goals. In the same way, competency-based education focuses on individual needs, learning styles and potentialities so that the student reaches the necessary skills to perform in the work environment. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to determine the influence of motivation using GTD strategies to improve the competency-based learning processes of the students of the VI cycle of Civil Engineering, of the andragogic modality of Working Adult of the Universidad Privada del Norte, in the city of Lima. The research is quantitative, of non-experimental design, with a correlational type. To conclude, it is obtained that Motivation directly influences the learning processes by competences, as well as its cognitive, attitudinal and procedural dimensions.
