Abstract

The objective of this research was to establish the relationship between psychological well-being and the performance of teachers, in an educational institution in the Southern Cone of Lima, 2019. For this, a methodology with a quantitative approach, of a basic type, was used. The research design was non-experimental, correlational, and cross-sectional. The population consisted of 90 teachers and the sample was census. The survey technique was used and as instruments, two questionnaires were used, which were validated by expert judgment and their reliability demonstrated through a pilot test carried out on 30 teachers. According to the analysis of results, it is concluded that with respect to the psychological well-being and teacher performance variable, that there is a positive and moderate correlation between the variables, since the Rho, 575, and the significance of p-value = .000 were obtained which is less than α = .05, which is why the null hypothesis is rejected.
