Abstract
APAZA-QUISPE, Juan; MANRIQUE-ALVAREZ, Giovanna; ROMERO-HERMOZA, Rosa and HOLGUIN-ALVAREZ, Jhon. Learning of the Petroglyphs of Checta applying serigraphy in rock engraving in school. Horizontes Rev. Inv. Cs. Edu. [online]. 2022, vol.6, n.22, pp.21-34. Epub Jan 28, 2022. ISSN 2616-7964. https://doi.org/10.33996/revistahorizontes.v6i22.311.
The research establishes the Checta Petroglyphs as the substantive basis of its historical teaching of the Lima culture, to revalue it, historically and formatively from the school stage. The objective was to provoke their learning by applying a silkscreen workshop with historical-cultural content. They worked with 120 students in the fifth and sixth grade of primary education from a public school. Two comparative groups with pretest-posttest measurement participated in the quasi-experimental research model. A pedagogical workshop based on activities on the historical phases of Checta was applied. The results determine significant changes in the learning developed by the individuals of the experimental group during eight months of experimentation, in the same way, the learning phases about culture were also increased in the group that participated in the silkscreen activities of the workshop. The experiment allowed us to adopt the information and procedural skills to learn the history and culture.
