The objective of the study was to verify whether the pedagogical accompaniment and teaching competences have an influence on meaningful learning in the educational institutions of the Lince district. The research has a non-experimental design, of a basic - descriptive type. The population consisted of 101 secondary school teachers, belonging to public educational institutions in Lince, the sample was census. The survey technique was used to collect the information, using three technical sheets referring to the evaluation of pedagogical accompaniment, evaluation of teaching competencies and evaluation of significant learning with 18, 16 and 19 items respectively, each questionnaire had an approximate duration of 30 minutes. According to the results obtained for the Nagelkerke index, 0.152 was obtained and a significance of 0.002. Therefore, it is concluded that significant learning in educational institutions in the Lince district is positively influenced by teaching skills and pedagogical support.
