Abstract

The present research work aims to compare the mediation systems used in some universities in Spain, Peru and Ecuador, in which a comparative study of the laws, rules and regulations of three universities in different countries has been carried out. The observed result is that, in the higher educational institutions studied in Spain, Peru and Ecuador, there are similarities and differences in terms of problem-solving processes, it is highlighted that both Spain and Peru have a degree of similarity in how to solve problems. Conflicts through mediation, intervening by the University Defender, while in Ecuador problems are handled by a due process commission.
