As part of the Project "Psychosocial Factors of addictions and their impact on child-adolescent behavior of the inhabitants of the Province of Loja", the present investigation was located. The objective was to identify the attitudes towards alcohol consumption in students of the educational unit "Pio Jaramillo Alvarado" in the city of Loja. The approach was socio-critical and ecosystemic. The study is descriptive, cross-sectional. The non-probability sample. The methods used were: scientific, analytical-synthetic, deductive-inductive. The technique used was the survey and the test of attitudes to alcohol consumption applied to 28 students. The results indicate the substance with the highest consumption of alcohol (68%); positive attitudes to alcohol intake manifested in 64% of adolescents; the main reason family problems 71%. It was concluded that, with the results obtained, psychoeducational strategies will be designed for the prevention, intervention and treatment of addictive behaviors.
