Abstract
FLORES MORALES, Jorge Alberto and HUAMANI, Lidia Neyra. Interpersonal values and critical thinking in students of a university in Lima,2020. Horizontes Rev. Inv. Cs. Edu. [online]. 2021, vol.5, n.18, pp.447-461. Epub June 30, 2021. ISSN 2616-7964. https://doi.org/10.33996/revistahorizontes.v5i18.187.
The objective of this study was to determine the relationship between Critical Thinking and Interpersonal Values in university students from the 1st cycle of a private university in Lima. The sample was intentional made up of 115 participants. The non-experimental correlational design with a quantitative approach, the data were analyzed through Spearman's non-parametric statistics. The Critical Thinking questionnaires (Zaldivar, 2010) and the Interpersonal Values questionnaire (SIV) were applied. The results showed that there is a positive and medium-intensity correlation (rho =. 513), therefore, the directionality of the correlation is correct, allowing to argue that high scores in interpersonal values are related to high scores for critical thinking: The higher the interpersonal values, the more critical thinking.
