2020 was a year of learning and transformation, especially in the educational field due to the COVID-19 pandemic, since it forced more than 1.2 billion students worldwide to leave face-to-face classrooms and move to virtual environments, forcing a new educational reality. The present study aims to analyze the satisfaction of face-to-face education students attending virtual classes due to confinement, through the observation of the perception of quality in an Ecuadorian Higher Education Institution, by means of an instrument of their own elaboration which analyzes various quality factors, and which allowed the participation of 4498 students. To demonstrate the achievements of the studied IES and the confirmation of previous studies around the challenges that they had to face from the legal framework to the implementation of significant virtual environments.
