Abstract

This article gives an account of the results found in the study regarding the limitations that students in 4th and 5th grade at the primary level of the "Beatriz Hartmann de Bedregal" Educational Unit present in the learning process of comprehensive reading. In the first investigations carried out prior to the investigation, they showed a linear and syllabic reading corresponding to the first level of understanding, the results of the application of different methods with their respective instruments are shown, elaborated from indicators related to elements that have to do with the affective, methodological, meta-cognitive, conceptual semantic dimensions, results that confirmed the existence of the initially identified problem. Describes the proposal expressed in the methodological strategy as a response to the initially identified problem and has the purpose of enhancing the learning of this skill in addition to offering a reading guide based on a selection of a variety of texts with concrete actions applied before, during and after the reading process, but mainly on the basis of the levels of comprehension, the base element of the study topic.
