Abstract

This study aimed to understand the lived experiences of translators from translation agencies regarding their job satisfaction in managing translation projects during the COVID-19 pandemic. The research was of qualitative approach under the phenomenological design. The results indicated that the translators have had job satisfaction, motivated by teamwork, fluid communication between the translators and the managers, and their adaptation to senior management, despite the pandemic. It is concluded that when good organization is favored in each of the translation project management phases and effective communication is promoted, translators value their work as part of a work team.
