Abstract This study analyzes the profile of the entrepreneurial spirit of college youth of the last two years and university in its first and second year, the main objective of the study is to analyze the particularities of the entrepreneurial spirit among young people in Tarija. A non-experimental and transversal design was used, through the survey and focal group of the aforementioned populations, having as a theoretical basis variables of: need for achievement, perseverance, self-confidence, leadership and autonomy. The study provides very interesting data which allows to affirm that the young people of college and university in the segments that focused the study have traits and enterprising spirit, it is perceived that they have an innovative approach oriented to the service sector, but as they go through cycles As university students, these are overshadowed by the fear of risk or by the difficulties they perceive to undertake that may be the product of their maturity.
