Abstract Social capital can be understood as the resources of the people as a sustenance that arises from the interest of the individual in the society allowing to streng then the social relations that generate economic benefits. Social capital influences the performance of female enterprises either individually, le as the set of personal attributes and access networks that facilitate women to achieve market objectives and not market, as a result of interaction with other individuals. Or as social capital that bridges or drives the generation of business. The research presented here aims to descriptive the social characteristics of women engaged in trade in the Sucre city supply center in a specific central market. A methodology based on the survey technique will be applied and the analyzed using the EXCEL 2013.
