Abstract The paper sets a discussion and analysis about entrepreneur's initial doubts when deciding to found a business company by their own, individually, or doing it with other persons in partnership. Through a deep bibliography review it analyzes entrepreneur's theory from a multidisciplinary perspective: psychological aspects as personality, attitude, values and motivation, furthermore economical factors as management, resources and capabilities access, and finally legal and institutional aspects that influence entrepreneur's perception about advantages and disadvantages of both options, individual and partnership undertakings, that finally will determine his/her decision.
