Abstract The objective of this research work is to analyze the entrepreneurial intentions of university students at the University of San Francisco Xavier de Chuquisaca (USFXCH), to explain the phenomenon of factors that significantly influence entrepreneurial intention, the model of the Theory of the Planned Action (TAP), in a sample of students that are professionalized in the different areas of the USFXCH. The data were obtained by applying a validated questionnaire to a sample of 236 students, using the modeling of structural equations and Smart - software (PLS). The most relevant result indicates that the Perceived Control Conduct have a significant effect on the entrepreneurial intention. These results indicate that the academic training in the university has to be reinforced to elevate the personal attitude and the behavior of the perceived control that ultimately results in a greater entrepreneurial intention and to guide the university students in an entrepreneurial training.
