This study ¡s the result of an investigation conducted ¡n order to determine the trend of teaching-learning styles and the knowledge management cycle applied in the Commercial Engineering Career at San Francisco Xavier de Chuquisaca University. The results establish a distribution biased towards convergent learning style. In turn an analysis of teaching styles where it was determined that, the functional and formal types are predominant amongteachers. Current Knowledge Management processes ¡mplemented by the students also was determined, where the creation phase is the main facilitator and the main barrier was the phase of identification. The process of determination of learning styles of students can contribute to the design of knowledge management strategies to ensure learning, by submitting the essential relationship of these elements. In this sense, it becomes an ¡mportant tool for identifying categories of knowledge strategy to contribute to the professional profile, through a systematic and organized knowledge flush in order to improve the results of the procedureof learningand teaching.
