Abstract This article focuses on the investigation of the work environment and the effects of stress that it can cause to graduate university teachers, impacting their health, such as the decrease in their performance in the training of professionals, as well as in the reduction of their actions being able to compromise their mental and physical health. For this study, a sample of twenty-five postgraduate teachers from the Education Sciences career at the Gabriel Rene Moreno Autonomous University was taken. In order to know the work environment in which the teacher works and to identify the stressors of the university teacher, for this purpose the present investigation is Descriptive-Correlational, Explanatory Type, since in the XXI century new pathologies have been evidenced that have to do with work, which affects stress, for this purpose the Quantitative Approach will be used, applying the Correlational Method, to collect the opinion of the teachers the Survey technique is used, with the research instrument that is the questionnaire. The temporal delimitation of the research is carried out in the 2020 management, the purpose is to know how the work environment at home is related to the stress of postgraduate university teachers teaching classes from home, which would be their work environment because the Covid 19 health emergency has so provided
