Abstract This paper analyzes the challenges of the public university in Bolivia in improving the quality of education. To this end, the author proposes achieving this objective by analyzing the rankings of Bolivian universities by Webometrics, and also by counting the number of Bolivian academic journals related to the public university, as well as exploring the student participation indicators using official quantitative data.
