Abstract The aim of this scientific article is to determine to what extent affects job satisfaction in the knowledge sharing in a public sector organization. Based on the literature review and relying on the theoretical perspective of the social exchange we formulated the hypothesis of the research. Through a study transactional and by the perception of 84 servant's public the hypothesis was tested. A linear regression analysis was performed. The results confirm the importance of job satisfaction as a determining variable in the knowledge sharing in organizations. This research also shows that through the intervening management of intangible resources, organizations can generate strategies to achieve knowledge sharing without cost for organization's in the public sector, only if the public servants feel part of the decisions in the organization
