This paper aims to show the intense jurisprudential development that the action of unconstitutionality has had in recent years, established as a defense mechanism provided for by the Bolivian Constitution of 2009, for which purpose it is intended to analyze its constitutional configuration based on the right of access to constitutional justice, emphasizing the legal grounds set forth by the Plurinational Constitutional Court, in order to understand the assumptions and conditions that justify its admissibility in the area of ​​normative control, in order to safeguard in a timely manner, the supremacy of the Constitution as a legal norm, and therefore the validity of fundamental rights and constitutional guarantees.
