Abstract

MIRANDA PARRA, E. Natalia. Effective protection of the right to a suitable family environment for Bolivian children, with a preventive approach. Rev. Jur. Der. [online]. 2025, vol.14, n.22, pp.59-68.  Epub Oct 10, 2025. ISSN 2413-2810.

The Constitution protects the rights of children in Bolivia; however, despite the regulation of procedural protection mechanisms in its text, these rights are violated daily. Faced with this situation, reality shows us the deficient work of the bodies responsible for administering justice and of the institutions that have been regulated to comply with the protection of children's rights. In this context, the relegation of prevention is a constant in this problem. Therefore, to overcome this reality, it is urgent to consolidate the effective protection of children's rights to an adequate family environment in accordance with International Standards from a preventive perspective as a determining factor in safeguarding their comprehensive protection.

Keywords : Bolivian Children. Right to an Adequate Family Environment; Prevention. Principle of Effectiveness.
