Abstract

CRUZ ARANCIBIA, Wilber Marcial. Grooming, a cybercrime that attacks the most vulnerable sector of Bolivia's children. Rev. Jur. Der. [online]. 2024, vol.13, n.21, pp.143-152. ISSN 2413-2810.

Abstract This article explores the characteristics of grooming, its development in the Bolivian context, and its social impact. In addition, a critical analysis of the current legislation in the country is carried out, pointing out legal deficiencies and proposing the need for a legislative update that includes more severe and specific sanctions for this type of crimes. The research highlights the urgency of preventive and educational policies that protect minors from the dangers of cyberspace, in addition to promoting greater public awareness about the seriousness of grooming. With this, we seek to contribute to the formulation of an adequate legal response that protects the rights of boys and girls in Bolivia, in the face of the threats of the digital age
