Abstract

GARCIA-TORNEL, Marcos. Indigenous justice and fictionalization: a reading of the emblematic bibliography. Rev. Jur. Der. [online]. 2021, vol.10, n.15, pp.165-182. ISSN 2413-2810.

Abstract This article analyzes fifteen academic works considered emblematic or fundamental regarding Indigenous Justice in Bolivia published between 1999 and 2013. Fundamentally, the possibility of creating general representations of indigenous justice is disputed, and the fictional nature of the specialized bibliography on this matter is discussed. Finally, the possibility of determining “for real” the quality of Indigenous Justice as a space for the administration of justice from the published work is put into question.

Keywords : Bolivia; Indigenous Justice; Legal Pluralism; Anthropology of Law.
