Abstract This article deals with the relevance of informed consent in Assisted Reproduction Techniques, also refers to fundamental principles such as autonomy of will, human dignity and confidentiality, constituting transcendental to carry out procedures that although they are true are current they are complex because of what they commit above all in the Civil Law that is in a legal lethargy, all these aspects must be incorporated to guarantee rights and obligations that derive from these techniques such as filiation, inheritance law, contracts in order to guarantee the legal security of the people involved.
