Abstract In labor issues in the south of Jalisco, the inhabitants of the 28 municipalities within the jurisdiction of the Seventh Special Board of Conciliation and Arbitration have to move to Zapotlán el Grande to act their right, resulting in economic difficulties due to transfer and prolongation of time in a trial. Therefore, the perceptions and consequences of workers are described when they become unemployed and claim their right before the competent jurisdictional authority, thus having greater obstacles to labor justice. In this investigation, surveys were carried out on workers, which showed the consequences on economic, family and time spent on the trials.
