Summary This article is a compilation of Bolivian and international legislation regarding the recognition of the right of self-determination of peoples as a human right; describing the Bolivian experience in the process of conformation of indigenous autonomous peasants governments, and the election of authorities of the Guaraní Autonomous Government of Charagua lyambae, the Indigenous Peasant Native Autonomy of Uru Chipaya Nation and the Autonomy of the Indigenous People of Raqaypampa; from the application of norms and own procedures established in their statutes, regulations and other laws within the framework of Community Democracy.
