PEREIRA NOCERA, Renata  and  MANRIQUE MOLINA, Filiberto Eduardo R.. Global challenges of environmental participation rights in the 2030 agenda for sustainable development. Rev. Jur. Der. [online]. 2019, vol.8, n.10, pp.92-106. ISSN 2413-2810.

Abstract The imbalance of the environment, in addition to affecting biodiversity, the ozone layer, air pollution, water, soil, also affects health, food security, among others, a fact that denotes a unity and interdependence due to the simple fact environmental degradation generates human rights violations, or even the fact that one’s own existence finds dependence on the quality of the other. The effective fulfillment of the sustainable development objectives, currently proposed in the 2030 Agenda, denotes this connection, considering that sustainable development is both, a way of understanding global issues and a method to solve the common problems of humanity. The rights of environmental participation respond to the challenges, since they explicitly link the environment with other human rights, providing a solid and broad framework for governments to create actions that involve and provide an effective implementation of human rights through protection environmental.
