Abstract In Bolivia, the development of mathematical models in the juridical field is almost non-existent, of the search of documents in the last 20 years only one article was found, named General Theoryof the Effectiveness of Criminal Policy. Theauthorship of the development of the model is by Rafael Torrez Valdivia, in it a set of variables is explicited and interconnected flow-temporal moments, oriented to measure the degree of effectiveness of criminal policies. In orderto publicize Torrez' work, in this article a brief explanation of the modeling process is presented; the model developed by Torrez is described and analyzed and it is proposed to discuss the relative importance of the mathematical modeling of the juridical in the Bolivian academic field.
