Summary In Mexico, a structural change is taking shape, within which, the energy reform is one of the essential pillars, and where constitutional changes have modified the paradigm on the scope in the inclusion of national and international private individuals in order to invest and carry out works of exploration and extraction of hydrocarbons in our country. Today, atthe conclusion of the so-called Round One of tenders, it is pertinent an analysis of its ¡mplementation. That is why, through this research, we provide objective considerations and data for a better understanding of the ¡mplementation of this first stage of the energy reform.
