Abstract

DAMIAN LAISE, Luciano. Cultivating the legal philosophy by active learning methodologies. Rev. Jur. Der. [online]. 2017, vol.5, n.6, pp.33-48. ISSN 2413-2810.

Summary The use of active learning methodologies, particularly the case method, has been gaining ground as a methodology to build meaningful learning in disciplines directly oriented to the praxis such as administration sciences, medicine and law. In the legal field, the advantages of this sort of method are not very problematic or simpler to notice in "right ofto damages" or "contracts". However, the contribution of this method has been relativized in the field of legal knowledge or law disciplines of an eminently theoretical and/or philosophical nature. In front of it, this paper will defend that the case method can make a relevant contribution to the teaching of the legal philosophy.

Keywords : Active learning methodologies; significant learning; legal philosophy.
