CHAVEZ-MERINO, Ingrid Polet et al. Use of biol with fish waste in the cultivation of Lactuca sativa in Huancavelica. RIIARn [online]. 2024, vol.11, n.2, pp.30-36. ISSN 2409-1618. https://doi.org/10.53287/iddb9973jm14n.
Pampas, located in Huancavelica - Peru, presents a precarious management of fish waste, where it is dumped daily into the ground, rivers, exposing it to the open air; By proposing the way to manage these residues, the present research proposed the objective of evaluating the biol with the highest final volume, better yields, better chemical characteristics, greater influence on the chemical characteristics of the substrate and, in the growth of the lettuce crop (Lactuca sativa) in the Andean Community of Pampas. The methodology used was a completely randomized experimental design, with three treatments (Biol1, Biol2 and Biol3) and three replications per treatment, where the analysis of lettuce production variables, such as head weight, plant height and number of leaves per plant, were a function of average values and dispersion. The results report significant statistical differences between treatments p<0.05; where Biol3 is the one that reported the highest final volume, and therefore, the highest percentage of yield compared to the other two biols, surpassing Biol2 by 2.8 % and Biol1 by 7.6 %. Except for the value of organic matter, in all chemical characteristics, Biol3 reported the highest values; such as the average height of the plants and number of leaves. Concluding that Biol3 has the highest final volume, obtaining the highest yield of biol production, with greater head weight, greater height and greater number of lettuce leaves.
