PACO CALLISAYA, Soledad; TERRAZAS CHAVEZ, Gabriela  e  MACIAS VILLALOBOS, Milton I.. Preparation of a mineralized biofertilizer at the Choquenaira Experimental Station, Viacha - La Paz. RIIARn [online]. 2023, vol.10, n.1, pp.15-24. ISSN 2409-1618.  https://doi.org/10.53287/hadi6194sc42o.

The adverse conditions of the highlands of La Paz are a challenge for the productivity of farmers. By implementing agrochemicals, it was thought that they had found the solution, however, the problems that it brought about in the medium and long term do not justify the cost of its implementation. On the other hand, the commercialization of agrochemicals (fertilizers, pesticides, etc.) does not have adequate training for its application in crops, which generates contamination of water sources, deterioration of the health of farmers and damage to fauna. of the productive area. The main objective of this study was the production of a mineralized biofertilizer enriched with native microorganisms, at the Choquenaira Experimental Station (Viacha), to encourage agroecological techniques. This study was carried out in five stages: the first of collection and reproduction of the Native Microorganisms of the Altiplano (MONA); in the second, the BIOL was elaborated and enriched, using pulverized rock (andesite, quartzite and limestone) and the collected MONA; in the third, the BIOL was applied to a controlled culture of Lactuca sativa L. (lettuce); In the fourth, physicochemical and microbiological analyzes of the mineralized BIOL with the best result in the biotest were carried out for quality control. Finally, a cost-benefit analysis was carried out for the artisanal production of the bio-input. The results obtained showed that it is possible to produce a biofertilizer using biol as a base, with the addition of pulverized Andesite and MONAs, which can be used in the organic production of lettuce with good results, in addition to the fact that the costs of artisanal production can be lower. paid for by small farmers.
