CHINO NICOLAS, Elizabeth; MIRANDA CASAS, Roberto and DEL CASTILLO GUTIERREZ, Carmen R.. Agronomic behavior of the quinoa crop (Chenopodium quinoa willd.) with the application of levels of camelid manure. RIIARn [online]. 2019, vol.6, n.1, pp.41-49. ISSN 2409-1618.
Abstract Forthe Bolivian highlands, the cultivation of quinoa has become one of the foods of greater socioeconomic interest in the national market, besides being a crop of high nutritional value. Research has been carried out applying levels of organic fertilizers, however, there is doubt that for intensive production of this grain higher yields can be obtained by applying higher dosages, or if they are not recommendable. The objective of the research was to evaluate the agronomic behavior of the quinoa crop with the application of two levels of llama manure. The research was at the Patacamaya Experimental Station, department of La Paz, the methodology consisted in the establishment of 6 treatments composed of two factors that were 0, 20 and 30 t ha-1 of manure and the variety Jacha Grain and accession 1474 of quinoa arranged in an experimental design of randomized complete blocks, analysis of variance and comparison of meanswere made by Tukey. Forthe variables heightofthe plant, numberof branches, diameter of the stem, length of the panicle, panicle diameter, and yield, no significant differences were found considering only the manure levels but there were differences for the variety and accession of quinoa The yield of clean grain was greater than 2083.33 kg ha-1 for the variety Jacha Grain with the application of 20 kg ha-1 of manure, while the accession 1474 with the application of the same level of manure obtained the minimum yield of 1250.00 kg ha-1 The application of the manure was during the sowing of the crop, causing the non-significance in many of the agronomic variables, thus it is recommended to apply it in the months of January to February before planting due to the effect of decomposition.
