Abstract

CONDORI-CRUZ, Amalia Ludían; LOZA-MURGUIA, Manuel Gregorio  and  PAXIPATI-PARRA, Rolando Cesar. Effect of two commercial dilutors on sperm viability of flame (Lama glama L.) collected by vaginal aspiration at two ages. J.Selva Andina Anim. Sci. [online]. 2020, vol.7, n.1, pp.30-39. ISSN 2311-2581.

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effect of two commercial dilutors (AndroMed and Triladyl) on the sperm viability of flame (Lama glama L.) collected by vaginal aspiration at two ages, the collected semen was diluted and refrigerated at 4 ° C, was evaluated every 6 h, for 24 h. For the macro-microscopic analysis DCA was used, the viability repeats with a factorial arrangement of 3Ax2Bx3C(3). the results represent that the macro-microscopic characteristics, the volume of 3.1±1.3 mL in 3 years and 3.7±2.2 mL in 4 years, color of light red 85% and dark red 5%, pH 8.3±0.36 and 8.3±0.4, 0, a motility of 74.9±9.7% in 3 years and 73.9±12% in 4 years, vitality of 80.3±5.6% in 3 years and 81.5±4.7% in 4 years and a concentration 30x106/mL in 3 years and 48 x106/mL in 4 years. Motility, there are no significant differences (p> 0.05). In dilutors, the significant differences (p <0.01) and in the cooling times (0, 6, 12, 18 and 24 h) indicate significant differences (p <0.01) and the interrelation age by time, age by dilutor, dilutor by Time and Age by Dilutor by Time statistically indicates no significant differences (p> 0.05). Vitality there are no significant differences (p> 0.05). In dilutors it shows significant differences (p <0.01) and in the cooling times (0, 6, 12, 18 and 24 h) it shows significant differences (p <0.01), in the age interrelation by dilutor, statistically it shows significant differences (p <0.05), in the interrelation age by time statistically there are no significant differences (p> 0.05). The post-refrigerated semen evaluation managed to maintain viability greater than 50% until 24 hours, highlighting the Triladyl dilutor in refrigeration, which is recommended for cooling and subsequent artificial.
