RODRIGUES DE ALMEIDA BUENO, ENILDA  y  SUANNO, JOÃO HENRIQUE. The scientific production from the complexity's point of view from the anguish of the labyrint to the foundation of freedom. Rev.Cs.Farm. y Bioq [online]. 2017, vol.5, n.1, pp.85-98. ISSN 2310-0265.

Abstract From the vantage point of Morin's complexity theory, this paper focuses on the process of scientific enquiry and knowledge acquisition. The research is based on some important works by Morin (2000, 2003, 2010, 2015), Torre (2005), Moraes (2002, 2015), Bueno (2001, 2009, 2014 2016), Suanno JH (2013, 2016), Velasco (2016) and other researchers of complexity. The paper was conceived and written in a postdoctoral stage intended to support the empirical research; its main question was the following one: what is the method, or what are the methodologies better suited for understanding human complexity, institutional as well as planetary, in the 21 st century? The aim of the paper is to contribute for a redirecting of the research in human and social sciences, understanding that it is necessary to surpass dogmatic views in the search for truth, as well as in the elaboration of new pieces of knowledge. In a complex and systemic reality, we are in need of methods that will allow us to establish transversal interrelations, in order to catch our object in the framework of the lived reality, with all its ontological specifications. Underpinning the research is complexity paradigm, which points to a multidisciplinary approach, en-compassing uncertainty, creativity, and connection between fields of knowledge, in order to break away from several Cartesian fragmentations imposed to the human sciences, such as subject/object, theory/practice, and reason/emotion. The research presented here is a proposal of new methods for the study of the human reality, which is complex and systemic, and of a new ontological comprehension of the human being, endowed with creativity and protagonism. In so doing, the paper also contributes for turning the scientific enquiry into a creative process. The paper begins with the depiction of contemporary reality as complex and systemic; it continues then with the ontology of a creative and active being, and finally it proposes a new linkage of fields of knowledge, by means of a multidisciplinary and transdisciplinary methodology.
