Abstract
CHAVEZ, GEORGINA et al. Potencial de cepas fúngicas aisladas en el área de Biotecnología Fúngica. Segunda parte: Biocontroladores fúngicos. Rev.Cs.Farm. y Bioq [online]. 2014, vol.2, n.1, pp.49-55. ISSN 2310-0265.
One of the most interesting characteristics of some fungi strains is their antagonist action which avoid the growth of other microorganisms, which is particularly important in the control of pathogens. Fungi plagues are one of the most difficult to control, and the infection whit them causes enormous looses in the cultivations. In the Institute of Biochemical and Pharmaceutical Research the biocontroller activity of several fungi strains have been studied, being Trichoderma inhamatum strain 12 QD one of the most outstanding. The production of ferment of Trichoderma inhamatum have been studied optimized and used in the biocontrol of Alternaria solani, Botrytis cinerea and Phytopthora infenstans in cultivations of potato, faba beans and tomato, respectively.
