Resumen

HERNANDEZ-MANSILLA, Alexis Augusto et al. Bioclimatic scenarios of Huanglongbing (HLB) in citrus in Ciego de Ávila. J. Selva Andina Biosph. [online]. 2017, vol.5, n.2, pp.133-143. ISSN 2308-3859.

The climate and its effects on agricultural processes are crucial to the economy and food security. This justifies the need for research that reveals the impact of future climatic conditions under the effects of Climate Change on the behavior of high impact diseases in important crops. The aim of this study was to: Interpret bioclimatic scenarios Huanglongbing disease caused by the phytopathological complex: Candidatus Liberibacter asiaticus Las Diaphorina citri Kuwayama, including Tamarixia radiata Waterston bioregulator of this psyllid in citric crops for the years 2020 and 2025 in Ciego de Avila. The work was carried out at the Provincial Meteorological Center of Ciego de Ávila, using the Regional Climate Model "Precis Caribe", with boundary conditions data generated by the ECHAM 4 Global Climate Model for scenarios (SRES) A2 and B2. Monthly values of maximum and minimum temperature and the limiting indices for the biological development of the causal agent, its vector and its bioregulator were used. The results indicate a temperature oscillation that satisfies the biological needs of the plant pathogenic complex Ca. L. asiacticus, D. citri, which implies prevalence and sustained annual increase in the epidemiological development of high indexes for this disease in Ciego de Avila due to Climate Change.

Palabras clave : Climate change; citric diseases; Diaphorina citri; Candidatus Liberibacter asiaticus; warning global.
