This study analyzes the news consumption habits and level of media literacy of university students in Bolivia. A survey was applied to 360 students from the Private University of Santa Cruz de la Sierra (UPSA) and it was found that most students consume news through social media and have a low level of media literacy. Additionally, significant differences were identified in news consumption habits and media literacy level among students from different university majors.
