Abstract

HINOJOSA TORO, Marisel. Relative autonomy of the State, passivization and the limits of the hegemonic projects of the Latin American Left-Wing. Rev. aportes de la comunicación [online]. 2023, n.34, pp.157-168. ISSN 2306-8671.

Abstract This paper relates the concepts of relative autonomy of the State, passivization and re-alterniza-tion as a triad that conditions the crisis stage of the "hegemonic" processes led by the govern-ments of the so-called new Latin American left-wing. It is argued that the hegemonic construction of these governments find one of its limits in the periods of social demobilization, which are accentuated in state administration stage, since this implies the power displayed from a logic that express some dimensions of relative autonomy of the state: results of management and interclass consensus and establishment (or reestablishment) of institutionality that produces certainty. This logic collides with the autonomist-antagonistic and subversive logic of the popular move-ments and leads to important shifts in the transforming project
